What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay lets you use Touch ID on any iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro and iPad mini 3 and 4 or any later version of these devices to make easy, fast and secure mobile payments.

Apple Pay uses contactless technology to process payments instantly, with the reassurance of robust security features built into your device whether you're using it in stores or in apps. You can use Apple Pay wherever you can use your contactless card, and the list of participating retailers is increasing.

It allows your Ulster Bank debit and credit cards to be registered into the Wallet app on the iPhone or iPad. Your card number and identity aren't shared with the retailer, and your actual card numbers aren't stored on your device or on Apple servers.
