How to get £200
1. Open a current account and switch to us
- Apply for and open a Select account.
- Log in to mobile or online banking to request and complete a full switch to us from another bank using the Current Account Switch Service.
2. Within 60 days of switching
- Pay in £1,250 - This can be made of multiple payments and must remain in the account for 24 hours.
- Log in to our mobile app - This can be done on any device that supports the Ulster Bank mobile banking app.
3. You're all set
- When you've met these conditions, we'll pay £200 into your eligible account within 30 days.
Offer T&Cs and restrictions apply. You won’t be eligible if you or anyone on the account has previously received a NatWest Group cash switch incentive, or if you’re switching an account from NatWest Group (NatWest or Royal Bank). This offer may be changed, replaced, or withdrawn at any time.
Emergency Cash Service
If your debit card is lost or stolen we will cancel your card and let you withdraw up to £300 from our ATMs if you're an Anytime Banking customer, or up to £60 if you're not.
Mobile Banking
Our mobile app is simple, clever and easy to use - you can even use it to withdraw cash from our ATMs and make payments to friends and family using just their mobile number (limits apply). App available to customers with Anytime Banking using compatible iOS and Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.
Step 1
The Current Account Switch Service will contact your old bank and they confirm if the switch can go ahead.
Step 2
Your new account will then be set up and your payments, like your salary and bill payments will be moved across.
Step 3
We talk to your old bank about transferring your balance over. On day 7 your balance will then be transferred and your old account will be closed. And that's your switch complete!
You'll be able to switch your old account once your new account's opened.
Overdraft details
You'll be able to apply for an arranged overdraft once your new account's opened (subject to eligibility).
