What are the payment limits?
There are different payment limits depending on which type of customer you are and the type of payment you are making.
To provide you with extra protection from fraud and scams, we've given you the ability to manage your own payment limits within Anytime Internet Banking or the mobile app. This applies to payments made from your personal account or your business account to someone else.
To make a payment from the mobile app for more than £750, you'll need to have made at least one payment to that payee using Anytime Internet Banking.
Payments via telephone banking are limited to £10,000.00.
Payments made on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday will form part of the next working day's allowance.
The limit for personal customers is per person, not per account.
For personal joint account account holders, each party has a separate limit , so if one party of a joint account makes a payment to someone else from that account, it will not affect the daily limit of the other signatory on the account.
For business account holders - If you have multiple signatories on the account and any signatory makes a payment, this will impact how much you have remaining for that day.
