What are my cash deposit limits?

The maximum amount in cash that you can pay into your account at a Post Office® or Cash & Deposit Machine (CDM) or branch counter is £3,000 per day.

And in a rolling 12-month period, you can deposit a maximum of:

  • £24,000 at a Post Office or Cash & Deposit machine
  • £50,000 at our branch counter

Cash that you deposit at our branches also counts towards Post Office® or Cash & Deposit Machine (CDM) daily and annual limits.

Yes, they do.

The maximum amount in cash that you can pay into your account at a Post Office® or Cash & Deposit Machine (CDM) or branch counter is £3,000 per day.

And in a rolling 12-month period, you can deposit a maximum of:

  • £24,000 at a Post Office or Cash & Deposit machine
  • £50,000 at our branch counter

Deposits you make at Post Office® or Cash & Deposit Machine (CDM)count towards branch counter limits and vice versa.

Yes. When we convert foreign currency to UK Sterling in our branches, we deposit the Sterling cash value into your account. We’ll count this towards your remaining limits in Post Office® and Cash & Deposit Machines (CDM). and branch counters.
