What are alerts?

Alerts are designed to help you keep track of your personal current and most saving accounts.

As long as you have provided us with a valid UK mobile number or email address we can send you either push/text alerts or email alerts about your account.

Currently the following alerts are available:

Activity alerts - We can make you aware of activity on your account, for example when a payee is added or amended or when a regular payment is changed or created. We can also inform you when your contact details are updated and when a new card or PIN is issued. These alerts are sent by push/text to your mobile.

Balance alerts - Keep track of your balance with an up to date balance on demand. Be informed when your balance reaches a high or low limit chosen by you. These alerts are sent by text to your mobile.

When your statement is available online - If you have turned off paper statements you will receive an alert when your statement is available online. This alert is sent by email.

When your pre-advice or interest and charges is available online - If you have turned off paper statements you will receive an alert when your pre-advice of interest and charges is available online. This alert is sent by email.

The easiest way to set up and manage your alerts is via the 'Alerts' section of Anytime Internet Banking. You can also manage your alerts using telephone banking.
