App available to customers with Anytime Internet Banking and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries. Anytime Banking is available to business customers with an eligible account and some services may not be available on all account types.
What you need to get started
- Activate your Anytime Internet Banking
- Your Anytime Internet Banking customer number - your date of birth (DDMMYY) followed by 4 digits
- Download the app - It is available on iOS and Android
How to get started
Once you have downloaded the app you will be prompted to enter your mobile number and accept our Mobile Banking Terms and Conditions.
We will then ask you to confirm your mobile number so we can send you a one time activation code by text message.
Once you have this code, follow the simple steps to sign up for the Ulster Bank App.

How to log in with your face
Now you can add an extra layer of advanced security in our app – set up face biometrics. It goes beyond face recognition to identify what makes your face unique.
It involves taking a photo of yourself that is encrypted and securely stored on the Ulster Bank database. When you come to use biometric approval you’ll need to put your face in the frame and follow the on-screen instructions.
This is a check to make sure you're a real person and helps stop fraud. It is a simpler way of managing your money and is a handy alternative to your card reader.
