As we’ve just launched a new improved version of Bankline, now’s the perfect time to hear from our product owners and check out their top Bankline tips. They also answer that crucial question – if Bankline was an animal, what would it be?

What’s your favourite thing about working on Bankline?

Making a difference to people’s lives. We work in a digital team building digital products, but it’s all about people.

 

Any tips to help users get the most out of Bankline?

Spend a bit of time exploring what’s offered in new Bankline. You can sign up for a webinar, where our experts will introduce you to the new features and improvements we’ve made.

And it’s an on-going process. We’ll be adding more new features in the future, which we hope will save you time and make your life easier. 

 

What are you looking forward to seeing next in Bankline?

We’re working through some changes that will make it easier to manage your profile and ensure that businesses give their staff the right banking privileges.

 

If Bankline was an animal, what would it be and why?

Of all the creatures in the animal kingdom, dogs are the most loyal. They have positive traits like loyalty, honesty, and companionship. I’d like Bankline to be thought about in the same way by our users!

 

What do you do to relax when you’re not improving Bankline?

Drink wine! Make pizza and ride my Peloton. Not necessarily in that order.

What are you most looking forward to seeing in Bankline?

Over the next few years, we’ll be introducing new payment types and delivering more intuitive ways to search and action your payments – making your day-to-day activity on Bankline smoother and simpler.


We know the Bankline team are very fond of animals. Do you have a pet who keeps you company at work?

My neighbour’s cat likes to wander into our house and sleep beside my office chair all day. It’s a great way to have a pet with none of the vet bills!


And if Bankline was an animal, what would it be and why?

I’ll choose a dog – it’s intelligent and complex, but every month we’re teaching it new tricks and commands!


How would you sum up Bankline in three words?

Secure, intelligent, evolving.


Any final words for people who use Bankline?

What’s your favourite thing about working on Bankline?

Constantly looking for opportunities to improve the service for our customers, and helping our wider Bankline team find solutions for queries that customers have raised.


Any tips to help users get the most out of Bankline?

It’s worth taking the time to match each user’s access to what they need to do their job. You can make use of the User/Role reports to review who still needs access. For help with roles and admin settings, you can always start a chat in Bankline, or visit our support pages. 

 

What are you most looking forward to seeing in Bankline?

The way that a single Bankline log on will allow customers to access even more account servicing options and other products they use from the bank.


Go on, spill the beans… What’s Bankline’s best-kept secret?

Make use of the Bankline email alerts feature. You can target and configure these payment-related alerts to a specific email address, so you don’t get bombarded with thousands of messages!

Do you have a pet who keeps you company at work?

For a long time there was Monty our handsome and very friendly ginger cat. Monty is sadly no longer with us, but he made a great contribution to Bankline in his own way. He was a regular star on internal Zoom calls, and he loved to sit on any paperwork I had on the desk. He’s fondly remembered by many of us in the team.


And if Bankline was an animal, what would it be and why?

A meerkat because they are ever watchful, resourceful, and so well-connected to all the other members of their group.
