Online banking won't accept the PIN or password I'm entering

Your Anytime Internet Banking PIN and password must meet the following:

PIN criteria

 

Your PIN must have four digits. To keep it secure, we won't accept:

  • Numbers in an ascending or descending order, for example 1234 or 7654
  • The same number three or four times in a row for example 1222 or 7777

 

Password criteria

 

Your password needs to be between 8 and 20 characters with both letters and numbers, with no spaces, symbols or special characters.

In addition, please ensure that you follow the guidance below to keep your password secure:

  • Avoid using dictionary words, names, or other easily guessable information
  • Don't use common patterns like "qwerty" or "1234"
  • Consider using a phrase or sentence with a few modifications, like replacing letters with numbers

Please remember your PIN and password will be used with both Anytime Internet Banking and Telephone Banking.

If you can't recall your PIN and/or your password, simply re-register for Anytime Internet Banking (opens in a new window) and you should be able to access the service straight away.
