You are far more likely to fall victim to this type of crime than any other in the UK and we strongly advocate the best way to fight fraud is to share knowledge and raise awareness.

We are very excited to welcome the police’s South West Regional Cyber Crime Unit (SWRCCU). The SWRCCU investigate cyber-crime affecting organisations of all sizes and sectors across the South West, and as part of the UK’s national Protect Network they also provide free and impartial cyber security guidance, workshops and resources.

Using real life case studies and interactive elements this session will cover the simple, effective steps you can take to reduce the impact of cyber-crime on you and your organisation. The team will also detail the reporting process involving Action Fraud, the UK’s National Reporting Centre for Fraud and Cyber-crime.

Attendees will be given a range of resources to take away which reinforces the advice provided in the session.

Who should I invite?

Criminals are not selective on whom they target within an organisation and therefore we always recommend that all staff would benefit from the content delivered.

We encourage anyone from the business can join us, from new joiners, staff who make payments to senior management. It’s a good idea to share this invite with all colleagues.
